Kislovodsk is considered one of Russia’s best health resorts thanks to its climate. It is characterized by lower air pressure and a lower oxygen content compared to sea level. The conditions of mild external hypobaric hypoxia in Kislovodsk create highly favorable conditions for utilizing this atmospheric effect for therapeutic and preventive purposes. The city’s crown jewel is Europe’s largest man-made Kislovodsk National Park, located in the immediate vicinity of MAYRVEDA Kislovodsk.
Mineral Waters
Guests at MAYRVEDA Kislovodsk always have access to unique mineral waters sourced from the Caucasian Mineral Waters region, available at various temperatures. This includes “Sulfate Narzan,” which is delivered to the MAYRVEDA Kislovodsk pump room directly from the source via a narzan pipeline, as well as “Slavyanovskaya” and "Essentuki-4," delivered from springs in the Zheleznovodsk and Essentuki deposits, respectively.
Tambukan mud, delivered to MAYRVEDA Kislovodsk directly from the lake without losing its healing properties, is used in special detox wraps at the MAYRVEDA Sanatorium. Tambukan is a saltwater endorheic lake located on the border of the Stavropol Krai and the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, 34 km from Kislovodsk, famous for its sulfide silt mud with a high mineral content. In terms of composition, Tambukan mud is similar to Dead Sea mud.
