Features of the procedure
Oils and herbal mixtures are selected on an individual basis during a consultation with an Ayurvedic specialist. The patient is positioned on a flat surface. To prevent the oil from getting into the eyes, a cloth strip is placed or tied along the lower part of the forehead to collect the oil and direct it to the sides. The bowl is placed approximately 20 cm above the forehead, in the “third eye” area, and filled with Ayurvedic mixtures (oil, herbal infusions, milk). The mixture is warmed to a comfortably warm temperature. The opening of the bowl is opened, and the mixture is directed onto the patient’s forehead in the “third eye” area.
